Puranol: Cleansing and Weight Loss Products
When purchasing any weight loss product, it is important to do your research. Many people are exchanging their opinions about Puranol on DietBlogTalk.com

Overview
Puranol asks several common questions: do you feel bloated, tired, sluggish, and are you serious about doing something to remedy the situation? The company wants to be the dieter’s one-stop solution for these needs, and as such, the product line is tailored to the interests of those who need to drop a few pounds and/or cleanse the body.
The two are not unrelated, however. Some estimates suggest that humans can walk around with between 5-20 pounds of un-eliminated waste hanging about in their digestive tracts. This is no small factor in weight issues, and so cleansing is one method to consider when you’re feeling you’ve got a few pounds to lose.
Ingredients at a Glance
Puranol offers five products: 5-Day Detoxification Cleanser, Immunity Booster, Carbohydrate Neutralizer, Pre-Diet Flush, and Pur-Hoodia Plus.
Ingredients in Focus
As we’re interested chiefly in weight loss here, we can focus on the Carbohydrate Neutralizer and the Pur-Hoodia Plus supplements.
Puranol’s carb-neutralizing supplement consists of Chromium, Vanadium, Green Tea, Gymnema Sylvestre, Banaba, Phaseolamin, Bitter Melon, Lycium Berry, Wheat Amylase Inhibitor, Cinnamon Bark, Lemon Verbena, Chamomile, Ginger, Chinese Licorice, Tangerine Peel, and Chicory. The central carb-neutralizing ingredients are Chromium, Vanadium, and Phaseolamin. Gymnema Sylvestre and Banaba may also aid in glucose metabolism, which is often important when it comes to carb-inhibiting. On the whole, this is a conventional carb-neutralizer.
Pur-Hoodia Plus, on the other hand, is an appetite suppressant. If you haven’t heard of Hoodia Gordonii, the supplement’s active ingredient, then you’re one of a select few. Hoodia is the appetite suppressant, and probably the diet ingredient, of the millennium. And though the jury is still out on whether or not it’s as effective as advertisers claim, companies are pushing it as the panacea of weight loss.
Positives
• Variety of products.
• Cleansing options are always nice.
Negatives
• Average product formulas.
• Product contains caffeine
• Conventional and underwhelming presentation.
Final Thoughts
Puranol is not a terrible-looking company. On the whole, the products seem safe and reasonable, except for a few stimulants in the Carbohydrate Neutralizer. But at the same time, Puranol does not recommend itself above and beyond other, similar companies. In the end, consumers may be at a loss as to how to choose between these middle-of-the-road options. Look for products with a proven fat burner that isn't caffeine based and an appetite suppressant. If Puranol can’t deliver, then it’s time to move on.
